Installing WiFi Dongle in Desk

Postby grahamrobertslx » 16 Sep 2013, 12:17

Is it a bad idea to install a WiFi Dongle in a Tiger Touch to make it easier to use Titan Remote.

Thoughts Please

We would recommend that you use a dedicated wireless access point connected to the console through the Ethernet port. A wireless access point will usually have a better aerial, stronger, more reliable signal and be compatible with most wireless devices. A Wi-Fi dongle, particularly if it is setup as an Ad-hoc network, will not usually perform as well.

Please note that installing third-party software, drivers or hardware on an Avolites console is not supported and has the potential to make the console unstable or crash.
