Connecting Capture to Titan simulator without license

Hello,
Is it possible to connect Capture (duet) to the Titan Simulator without a dongle/console/license?
I see the connection, also if I select fixtures in Titan, the fixtures in caputure are turning red but no DMX response.
Artnet adress is correct, line's are linked with artnet en the output is live. What am I missing?
