In-built vis not showing anything.

Hi,

Im still pretty new to the titan software and wanted to try out the visualiser the other day. It was working, but then ofcourse I did something to make it stop working.

Problem:

When I open the visualiser workspace window i just see a gray window, no fixtures, no axis lines or anything...

Must have changed some settings in the visualiser window.

When i finally get this working, could anyone tell me how i lay out my fixtures in the vis? Thanks.

Try closing the Visualiser window then go to System > Wipe > Wipe Visualiser Patch then reopen the window. You can rearrange fixtures by switching the mode in the context menu to Design Mode and then drag fixtures around with a mouse (potentially with a touch screen but it might be a bit fiddly).

Note that there are some major changes with Capture Visualiser in the upcoming version 10, which includes better rendering and the ability to use the wheels and touch screen interface to much more easily move fixtures around.

Still not working.. I was looking around in the vis window menu when I last had it working.. I think i opened a new theatre and lost everything then.

Does it work if you start a new show in Titan?

Try opening the 'blankinches' or 'blankmm' theatres. Does that work?

Doesn't work if i start a new show, not even if I load the demo show..

Just found out that I can't even start a new, open or save a theatre anymore from the vis window. Just doesn't happen anything when i press any of the buttons.
Is there a way to open the files from the visualiser folder on my computer?

I wonder if there is a prompt dialog opening on a screen you can't see? I've had this happen before although I thought Gregory had made some changes since to try and prevent it. If you're on a console go to Tools/Switch Task and see if there's anything there with an avolites (Visualiser) logo. Normally there would just be Titan here. If there is try pressing on the [1/2] button to the right of the task to move screen. If you're on a PC try hold Alt+Tab and see if there's an image of a prompt in the applications. In this case I can't remember how to make it move screen but I'm sure Gregory can...
