2004 sim and vis error

Postby Thumper Audio + Lighting » 29 Dec 2004, 19:56

I loaded the 2004 simulator to try out and after a few minutes I get a "sort it out!!" error.

I went back to the 2000 simulator and all works fine.
any ideas on what I may be doing wrong?

TIA
Jason

This message is caused by a previous installation of Pearl Simulator. There is a simple registry patch that can fix it.

Please follow these instructions:

1) Open Notepad
2) Copy in the following code

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Avolites\Pearl\PearlSimulator]
"ZoomedButtons"="0"

3) Save with the filename "SimFix.reg" NOT ".txt"
4) Double click on the file you have just saved.
5) Select Yes when prompted "Do you want to add information to the registry?"
6) A message should be displayed to indicate it was sucessful.

It should all now work fine!

You probably do not have suficient privledges to edit the registry.

If you download and install the Simulator again you should not get the message as we have updatted the installer to get around this problem.
