Robe Colorspot 575 - Showtec Matrix 5x5 - Showtec Sunstrip

I'm a bit stuck using the visualiser, (sorry sound guy here so fairly inexperienced in lighting)

I cannot see the above fixtures when I am using the vusualiser, the desk is patched ok but need to be able to program before I get to the show so being able to use the visualiser would be a great help.

Is there something I am missing?

Thanks in advance
James

Hm,

as for the robe, all files are there, but it doesn't work. Probably some faulty reference. I will check (and hopefully fix) this today and will let you know.

As for the other two fixtures, it's a bit more complicated. The visualiser doesn't support multicell fixtures - hence, the Matrix has no vis files at all, and the sunstrip only for the 1ch mode (sunstrip active) resp. 3 and 5 ch modes (Sunstrip LED).

Unfortunately you're bound to define how to help you, and probably patch some suitable instruments into visualiser yourself (usually I patch something onto the first cell, so that I at least see something).

If you could be a little bit more specific about which console and which fixtures you use, it'd be easier to help you find a solution.

Thanks for the reply, yeah figured the multicell stuff would be tricky. I'm using a Pearl Expert in Titan, the only fixtures I really need to work are the ROBE Colorspot 575AT in Mode 3.

Just a quick update.
Forgot to mention I am using the simulator pearl expert.
The stand alone visualiser software has the fixtures available so I created them here but dont know how to load that into the desk visualiser

Its like the fixture library in the desk visualiser isn't complete only goes up to robe arc power fixtures??

Seems the desk's fixture library needs an update - the bug here lies in the r20 files (was fixed 20/4/2012), which do the referencing between Titan's d4 and Visualiser's vis files.

If you don't want to run a fuill update now, just copy the recent r20 files:
- ROAT5751.R20
- ROAT5752.R20
- ROAT5753.R20
- ROAT5754.R20

On the desk, they need to go to c:\program files\Avolites\Visualiser\Personalities
