load file from pearl 2004 sim to console with 2008 upgrade

Is it possible to save a showfile from a pearl 2004 sim and load on a pearl 2004 console thats had the 2008 upgrade. if so how would I go about it?
Is not what would I need to do?
at the moment I'm trying to load the showfile on the console but it is not reading the files in the USB stick.
