What portion of ACDI is supposed to run on W7? The little program together with Visualiser, or Pearl Simulator outputting via ACDI? 32 bit or 64 bit?

Thanks for the answer!
now i have a parallel virtual machine with WinXp and the ACDI works well....now my problem is to connect the visualiser on the computer with the pearl!I can see the ACDI node in the dmx outputs menu, and setting up the IP address....but the little-box of the ACDI program is always red....
is possible to connect the acdi and visualiser on the Pc, with the pearl 2010 via ethernet?

Um, well not a Pearl 2010 because it doesn't have ethernet! But I know you mean Expert (there are no model variations).
It should work. But I don't know if ACDI can see it inside a VM. You're definitely making it tricky (networking+VM!) With Macs I always use Bootcamp so not something I've ever tried.
If possible I would try to get it working on a straight XP install first (either another machine or dual boot). If that works then you know it's the VM and can look for a solution there.

Yes yes, is an Expert sorry!:D Ok, i will try with my netbook with XP and see what happens.Anyway, if I setup the same IP address in booth machines, in this case my MAC+VM and the Avo....the last one detect there is a machine with the same ip, so i think the virtual machine works, or not?

If you see the IP conflict warning in the virtual XP itself then it certainly suggests it but still I would start with the netbook first to narrow things down.

Does this mean that I cannot run a visualizer (ESP) on the same PC because I a running 64 bit windows 7? I have re installed ACDI, but the program will not open.....

It means you can't use the Expert DMX nodes but you should be able to use Art-Net instead as I explained earlier in your original post.
