Could you please be a little more specific?
- with which program do you have this problem, and in which situation (I just guess you're trying to get the Titan Simulator running)
- what is your operating system?
Does it say 'not installes' or 'not running'? If not installed, the best thing is to remove all simulator-related programs, then make sure Dotnetframework 3.5 is installed, and install again. If 'not running', try starting the service manually.

Do you get a dialog box that looks like the following when Virtual Panel launches?
If so, do the following:
- Close Virtual Panel
- Go to Start Menu/Programs/Avolites/Usb Expert Console
- In the Usb Expert Console window go to the Tools menu, select ACW Service/Start.
- Wait a few seconds for it to start and then close the Usb Expert Console window.
- Start Virtual Panel again (Start/Programs/Avolites/Virtual Panel)
"ACW Service not running."
'The ACW Service has not been started on this computer.
Please start the ACW Service before running the program.'
If so, do the following:
- Close Virtual Panel
- Go to Start Menu/Programs/Avolites/Usb Expert Console
- In the Usb Expert Console window go to the Tools menu, select ACW Service/Start.

- Start Virtual Panel again (Start/Programs/Avolites/Virtual Panel)

Where to start?
1. Try to start the service manually. Open a console window (Win+R, cmd), and type: net start "Avolites Expert USB". What does it say?
On my german XP desktop, it looks like this:
In the last line, it says 'Service successfully started'.
