I am New to the Visualiser . and haveing a struggle getting started. All the software is loaded ok.

I go into design mode ok
Then when i select "MH" I look at the drop down and can find about 6 fixtures.

I look in the Preference box for File Paths and notice both Extensions and Personality file path point to the same extension directory.

I change the personalities to the correct path ( looking at R20 file).

Both Extensions and Personality directories have loads of heads both .vis and R20 in the correct Directories.

However when I go back to the Drop down to select a head I still find the original 6 or 7 heads and not the long list to choose from.

Left scratching head :):):)

What am i doing wrong

PS running it under Windows 7 If I select one of the few heads then i can see it in on the screen and use it but can not get to the heads I need

Lots of fiddling with Directories and all seems OK

Same problem here. I read that the basic theatre in inches is the bugger. I used the mm based theatre and all worked fine.
