Is there any way to import capture 2023 files to the arena wihtout loss of data from downscaling to earlier versions?

Hi,

I have capture 2023 on my PC and avolites arena console with version 17.1 installed. When I try to import the .c2p file to arena, it has issues with my arena's current capture version. 2020 and earlier files work fine, but upwards it complains about wrong version. I have multiple fixtures which aren't in the 2020 library and therefore when imported to the console, don't exist in the visualiser.

You need to use a Capture 2020 file in Titan v17, see https://manual.avolites.com/docs/captur ... ting-shows

However as far as I know the fixture types are the same across the various Capture versions. If a particular type is not shown in the internal Capture visualiser then this is a reason to submit a request or a bug report at https://personalities.avolites.com/

There are differences in the Capture libraries depending on version. This is why we have three different Titan library installers - one containing Atlas/Argo (Titan v10.0-11.4 and earlier), one containing 2018 (Titan v12.0-13.0) and one containing 2020 (Titan v14.0-17.1). Atlas/Argo and 2018 are no longer being maintained. 2020 contains all the fixtures from previous versions but 2018 will only contain fixtures up to the point support for it ended and similarly for the Atlas/Argo library. The reference ID's are the same across all versions. However, my understanding was that 2020, 21, 22 and 23 all shared the same library with 2024 being different again. So I would have expected any fixtures in 2023 to be the same as 2020.
