Deleting show

Postby David Boots » 22 Jul 2008, 13:46

I have a corrupted file. Is it possible to delete 1 or 2 time stamps within a show file or would I have to delete the entire file? Console is Pearl 2008.

I don't think there will be any problem in deleting individual files. If you view the directory structure on a PC it should be clear. If necessary you can edit the .xml reference files. Without having some example files in front of me I can't remember if you need to or not.

Doing what Nick suggests would mean removing the memory stick from the console and as it is glued in you may find this tricky.

I am afraid you can only delete whole shows not histories within a show. I would suggest loading a good version in and then saving it with a different show name. You can then delete the old show.

Sorry, I did assume it would be on an external stick.

Thanks Olie and Nick. That is exactly what I ended up doing. Thanks for the reply.
