azure shadow "abort" message?

today while patching my azure shadow, i was loading a profile from a disk, and it counted to 100% but the only option i got was "abort". It would do this and sometimes freeze. And then a couple times it just shut it self off completley. eventually i got it to start up again. Anyone else run into this before? is this a problem with the disk drive? suggestions?
