problem with personnality files ( on usb stick/floppy disk)

Hello ,
I have a new avolites Pearl 2008 , i can't use normaly personnality files on my USB stick or old storage on my personnality files floppy disk , i can load and save my work normaly with my usb stick or my floppy disk .
where is the problem it's strange ?
i can use compressed personnality files on floppy disk ( for pearl 2000 / 2004 console )
