How to purge/flush/defrag/format Memory on Avo Desks ??

Hi,

I've been having a lot of memory related problems on our Diamond 3 and am pretty shure defragmenting or checking the memory would help.
I'ts possible for normal PC memory chips, so it sould also be possible for AVO chips wich seem to be normal (be it old style) ram.
My question is:
What type of memory is it and does avolites have any experience with this and could give me some tips.
AND: is it possible to buy new memory through or from AVO?

Also, what exactly happens with the memory when the desk gets a whipe-all. Is the memory reformatted or just deleted (a.i. only headers erased like with a normal delete)?
