Little question about the simulator version vs the console version.

I have sim version 1.
And OS on desk is version 1.2.2 (If I recall well)

I recently put a show programmed in the sim into the pearl, and much of the fixture patch was wrong (offset handles and f/u dmx). There was also problems with palettes and shapes.

Could that be a version issue?

If so, can i expect the simulator to have an OS update the same way the desk does? So they both have the same version number?
