how to create a smooth start when enabling a playback?

I have a question about the pearl 2004. Is there a way to let the fixtures start smooth into a playback? When using the playback the fixtures go to the starting position very fast and then start to make the playback ( circle or pantilt or... ) smooth.

Yes. In Playback Parameters set size to timed (possibly also speed - try and see if it looks better or not). Then set LTP fade time. This automatically enables Mode1 (timed).

If you want manual control you can do the same but set fader to Mode2 without LTP fade time. You can then fade effect in and out by fader.

Using Mode2 and an fade time is not advised!
