colors spinning not simultaneouslyI

Postby csgushen » 19 Jul 2007, 02:41

I have a group of fixtures, from these movingheads,I let fixture1 be blue and recorded into PB1.

Then,I made all of fixtures spin colors ,of course include fixture1,and recorded into PB2.

I first pulled up PB1 ,you can see fixture1 turning into blue, then,I pulled up PB2.Something strange happened.Although all the fixtures spined colors simultaneously except for fixture1.

I tested a lot of ways ,still cannot make all spin simultaneously.
Thanks in advance.

It would be normal for the continuous spin to start from its current position. Therefore if one fixture is in a different colour to the others then it will be out of sync with them when you ask them all to spin.

You need to have a way of ensuring all reset their start position before recalling a spin cue. Either by palette, another playback memory or via a two step chase. When using a chase you can tell it to only run once and adjust the timings so there is no delay between step one (ie. all colours white) and step two (all spin).
