Pearl 2004 - submasters and attributes on faders

Postby LordNikon » 05 Jul 2007, 12:15

hi! i've searched on forums but i've not bright how to make 2 simple things:

1) it's possible to make submasters (puts them on sliders) for a group of spots? for example sub1 for spots 1,3,5 and sub2 for 2,4,6 ??

2) it's possible to put an attribute on a slider? like the change color of all spot on slider to chenge all colors istantly? or gobos etc..

thank you very much! bye

1) If you mean specifically to select these fixtures, no. Otherwise can you clarify your question please?

2) Of course. Select lamps, select attribute, wheel in colour/gobo as required (or type value, or use palettes, or use include etc.) and store. If you want LTP values to be variable by fader (ie. act like HTP) then set playback to mode 2. Is that what you meant?

Kind of echo Niclights thoughts, not clear on question 1.

Q2, The only thing I would had to Niclights comments is ensure you are working in "record by channel" otherwise you will record everything!

Another way of doing it (assuming you are busking) is to make extensive use off the preset focuses (or palettes) and run the desk in take over mode, selcet your group of spots or whatever, hit gobo, colour change etc and off you go.

Will await with bated breath for the calrification on Q1.
