Info on Second Hand Pearl 2000

Hello,
I am going to buy a second hand Pearl 2000, but I want to be sure it is not a stolen one, and I want to check which motherboard it has (to see if I can update it to Pearl2004 software).
The Serial Number is PRL 522.
Can you provide me this information?
