Pearl 2004 locking up - can anyone tell me how to spot the..

I've got a Pearl 2004 that is less than a year old that is locking up when you leave the console idle for a while, giving video buss errors.
Without telling the whole life story - basically I've contacted Avo USA about it and was shipped a new video card that was thought to fix the issue. The next step if that did not work (which it did not) would be to then load the patched software for the consoles that had the bad memory chips (or mistimed, whatever). I have the patched software to load, BUT I would really like to know how to identify the memory chips so that I can be 100% that yes or no this console does/does not have those chips.
Sooooo....can one of you guys give me this info? Noone could answer this question at Avo USA. The response was simply "well load the patched software anyway and see". I'd rather know for sure.
Thanks, -Michael
