Trying to find a super quick way of making position palettes from a shape, seen this done on MA (Christian Slater on youtbe) and it looks awesome.
Basically I've created one position palette and an even circle shape which has size and speed master assigned.
If i trigger the position palette and then the shape playback, by using the speed and size masters I can create loads of great looking palettes super quick.......BUT
I now want to store that absolute position as a palette but the programmer seems to only have the relative starting position from the palette and when I kill the shape it all returns to the starting position.
Is there any way I can store the position I have created using the shape and masters as a palette, otherwise its the lengthy process of dialling it all in, plus using different starting positions and the masters you can come up with some awesome new positions without falling into the trap of just setting up your 'usual' set of standard positions.
Any ideas?

Unfortunately there is not a straightforward way to do this. In Titan shapes and effects are processed as a separate layer on top of the attribute values that can be seen on the wheels and are recorded into cues and palettes. Shapes along with masters are applied immediately before the values are sent as DMX and the software does not attempt to calculate from the DMX what the equivalent attribute value would be.
