Color cues don't mix

Hi I am creating a fixture for my 10 channel rgb led bar and I can't get the colors to mix using the faders after setting the cues it just shifts quickly without any color blen and when I patch it as a dimmer it works fine but I need to create a fixture for it

To control the RGB level by fader, clear the programmer, select the fixture(s) place just the one component (ie. red, green or blue) in the programmer at 100% and record to a playback making sure the record mode is set to 'Channel' then set the component value to 0%. Repeat for all components. Then set all the playbacks to mode 2 (via [Options] or [Edit Times].
