BPM Master slow on first 2 steps

Hi
When i tap a tempo on my BPM master key it takes 2 slower steps before going to the real speed i have set. Any ideas why?

+1 on this one!
It feels like it tries to hold in a weird slow tempo for two bars until it catches up on time, and then it goes on just fine. But as long as I tap the tempo it keeps going slow.
Is this algorithm something that you can turn off?
It is totally useless and it makes me just skip tapping when I’m just a bit off so it doesn't stop all together.

I also agree. It's not helpful. It would be better if it just went straight to the tapped speed.
