T3 on Windows 11 PC Suite 11.4

Hello, I have a couple of compatibility questions.

Will the T3 console work on Titan PC Suite Ver 11.4?

Also, will Titan PC Suite ver 11.4 work with Windows 11?

I went ahead and tested this.

Titan PC Suite Ver 11.4 seemingly works on Windows 11, but I never got past the page telling me that there was no dongle inserted.

Because Ver 11.4 and Ver 12 don't even see the T3 plugged in. And neither do the older versions of USB Expert.

Reinstalled Ver 16 and it sees the T3 and starts up normally.

You are perfectly right: the T3 works only from Titan version 16 on.

To confirm hardware like the T3 (or T2 before it) requires both the correct drivers so that it can be installed as a valid device in the operating system and support in the software so that it knows what to do with it i.e. what buttons should do or what ports are available. For this reason you will normally require software released after or with the hardware to successfully use it. There was a slight exception to this with initial T1 devices (similar design to T2 but with a single port) that replaced TitanOnes (that had a fitted cable) which were released prior to v12 and would appear to the software to be the same, although it is possible this might not be the case for T1s sold later.
