Perhaps something has become disconnected inside? If you haven't done so already I would open it up and check/reseat all of the connections.

I did what you said before but I couldn't find the solution
Is there a way to be sure if it is due to firmware or hardware?
Regards

It's a long time now since I last used a Classic console but you should be able to go to System -> [Service] -> [Diagnostic Screen]. This should change the LCD display to show readings from the various hardware buttons, faders and wheels (Whl1/ Whl2). If these don't respond when turning the wheel then almost certainly it is hardware.
