Titan Mobile with Thunderbolt

Hey there, anyone tried to connect a Titan Mobile via USB-C Thunderbolt?
Does this work?

The Titan Mobile is a USB 2 device so in principle as long as it is able to negotiate that along with the power it requires it might be possible but I don't know how much this has been tested. In some cases it is possible to change the speed that a port operates at in the BIOS or system settings, for example disabling xHCI (for USB 3) can make it simpler for devices to establish a connection.
