Goede middag,

Does the console have a BUM board fitted? Or has the floppy drive been replaced with Usb? This will almost certainly be significant. It might be helpful if you are able to provide photos showing the front, top, rear and inside.

Re: Fixture inladen in Pearl 2004 via USB
Thank you. As far as I am aware the Usb floppy replacement is not an official Avolites part. My understanding is the BUM board is required in order to run the 2008 software which adds official Usb support.
I don't have any experience with the floppy replacement. However, there are some topics that might be helpful. Here are two I found:
http://forum.avolites.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1667
http://forum.avolites.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=5908
It is important that the files are in the expected folder structure. Additionally, some of these posts appear to suggest that the Usb sticks need to be formatted in a particular way and that there may be a maximum stick size.
If this doesn't help perhaps it is possible to ask the person you purchased the console from for assistance?

I know this anwer is on an older topic, but maybe it can help somebody in the future.
I had the same problem with the USB drive. As said, they are universal and not a part of the desk.
Whey you used your PC for uploading Personality files ALWAYS dsconnect your USB stick from your cumputer before you pull it out of the USB poort. you can do this by opening your active icons on the right of your taskbar.
You'll see an icon that looks like an USB stick (duh) It should say something like eject or disconnect hardware. (I'm Dutch and have a Dutch version of Windows).
Then when you have inserted the USB stick in the USB/Floppydrive of your Pearl desk, run thru the numbers. Mine goes from zero to 9 with the right button, and from 10 till 100 on the left, For me it doesn't matter which button I use.
When you're back at zero the drive should work again.
