Problem : shutter bug after loading show

Postby Rmlive » 12 Sep 2021, 15:06

Hello, here is my problem:
A lighting designer came to program the console. The console was left on overnight for humidity. The next day after welcoming another lighting designer and after having saved his show, I relaunched the previous show (my show of the day before)

And that's where I had the following problem: all my lights with a shutter no longer worked.
The tilt, the pan everything works but impossible to turn them on with the intensity / dimmer. The traditional lights on dimmer and or led without shutter worked without problem.
The console clearly indicated that the shutter and the dimmer were open and at 100%
Master group 100% and no master intensity either
I had to recreate a new show.
which means that there is a parameter or mask on the shutter which starts when the console is reset or when a show is loaded
If someone has an idea ?

No changes were made on the fixtures itself like channel mode (for fine pan/tilt), dmx adresses, etc.?

You did really make shure that the shutter was open in the console (programmer)?

I appreciate you mentioned groups but I still wonder if the shutter part is coincidental and this is related to a group set to scale master with the scale set to zero (for example a group of the fixtures that happen to have shutter controls that was assigned to a fader, the fader set to zero and then the group moved to a group button). Do you happen to still have the show? If so I would be happy to take a look. nick <dot> morris <at> avolites <dot> com.
