Using VLC timecode on T1 rather than winamp

Hi! On our next corporate meeting our client show us an impact video as intro. I would like to create a nice lights timeline using winamp timecode.. two simple questions: does winamp video timecode works as music timecode? (I'm not with my pc to test it now). Does winamp play full screen video on second display monitor like VLC? If not... Is there any workaround to works with VLC timecode using T1 rather than winamp? Thanks!
