Virtual Faders

The virtual fader does not move like a mouse.

The behaviour you are seeing is somewhat deliberate although I can see that it might be confusing. The faders have been setup so that you do not need to grab the slider and can touch anywhere with the area to change the level, this is to make it easier to use, especially on small screens or high-DPI displays. To add to that touchscreens are inherently less accurate than a mouse due to the larger surface area of a finger or stylus. For this reason the slider itself really only shows what the current level is set to and isn't strictly linked to your mouse movements. Perhaps we could look at how we translate the mouse movement to the level change and see if a more pleasing result can be achieved (#87898).
