FACTORY RESET PEARL 2004

Hi, Just purchased a used pearl 2004. Turned it on and there are lots of red lights on and the screen is a few shades of blue/pink. Want to try a deep reset before I return it to the seller. I have used the reset button on the back, but wondered if there is a way of doing a deep reset? thanks

There is a wipeall jumper on the board.
- switch off the console
- open it
- find the wipeall jumper (close to the processor), and set it so that the two pins are connected
- switch on
- in the menu select option A 'Start the system'
- switch off
- set the jumper back so that it sits only on one pin
The console is now cleared.
