Timecode Bug

Postby juantriana » 09 Oct 2020, 18:22

Hi everyone,

On the V13 I find a bug on the timecode but in this version I wasn't able to change the fps so I dont know if it remains.

When you are working in a timecode and set a Cuelist to work in 30 fps, you couldn't add or subtract more than 25 fps because of the box of "offset =" things that you are working in 24 fps.

Thanks in advance to correct this problem

Have you tried changing the global frame rate in the user settings. Avo+disk, user settings, timecode tab.
Avo Machine - v14
Titan Mobile + Fader Wing
Dell Optiplex 7010usff
i7, ssd, 8GB, Intel Hd4000

Capture Machine
2020 Symphony - 2020.0.53
AMD A7, ssd, 32GB, nVidia RTX3060 Eagle

Ai Media Server - 12.1
r6 + 2x Datapath DVI capture cards + Genlock module.

In version 14 the displayed FPS is linked to your timecode source. In principal this was what version 13 did however it often resulted in different times in your cue list being stored as different frame rates.

In the version 14 release notes it says:
33. Timecode entry doesn’t follow current source frame rate:

Previously the timecode entry in Playback View didn't follow the frame rate of the currently selected timecode source. This has now been resolved. Additionally any times will update to the source frame rate if the source is changed and the styling of the [Frame Rate] softkey in the Timecode menu has been revised to make it more obvious this is for information only.

Hope this helps
