I'm still a novice at ai/synergy but I've found that if you try to manually set a media playback speed thats out of range using the attribute editor workspace it greys out the speed setting and won't allow you to.change it until you close and reopen the window.


I was unaware that 1% was the minimum speed and I was experimenting and put 0 in there thinking it would pause the clip on the current frame. I know it's probably not a logical thing but in my mind pausing a clip is not the same thing as a clip that's playing with zero speed. Anyway I'm waffling now.

Sorry it has been a while. I have tried to repeat this a couple of times ago on different days and unfortunately I am failing to see what you are reporting. It seems to be pretty reliable at setting the control to legal values, and I haven't seen it grey out the control.

Yes I'm sorry I didn't follow up on this. I reloaded the same show file and it stopped doing it. Oddly when I transfered the same file from my laptop to the same desktop machine it did it again plus also all the image thumbnails in the attribute editor disappeared. I'm going to say it's probably a dodgy usb stick had done something to the file because some other non related files had gotten all chewed up too. Apologies for wasting your time on this.
