Problem with subfixtures

Postby renebiemans » 08 Mar 2020, 10:03

I have a problem with using the swop function with fixtures that do have subfixtures. For example: I patched 8x Martin Aura(in full mode) and 8x Martin Rush MH6. I have one playback with all odd fixtures DIM 100% and one playback with all even fixtures DIM 100%. If I swop them with the faders off: the functionality is as expected only the corresponding lights will go on. If I raise both faders(odd & even) and then I swop for example the odd playback. Then all fixtures with sub fixtures(so the Mac Aura) will switch off. And only then odd fixtures of the Rush MH6 will stay on.

Is this a bug? And is there a work-around?

I saw this problem with multiple show files and multiple fixtures which using subfixtures with RGB+Virtual dimmer.

Currently using V13, but I have seen simular problems in V12 & v11.

Yes, unfortunately this is a bug at the moment with multi-cell fixtures (it is not related to virtual dimmer). The workaround is to record the dimmer from the cell instead.
