Hello everyone,

How do I apply on subs the following:

1.Pan move (or tilt) which will start from 0 and ends on 100, so I can manual control a movement from the subs during playback

2.Apply colors on sub fader. ex. I want to store 3 color sequence as they are on the whell but not all colors. Lets say a moving head has Magenta, Cyan and Yellow (one after the other) and want to put them on fader so, raising the sub will be magenta, 50 will be Cyan and full will be Yellow....

Can someone help?

1) (Using 'record by channel'):
Select fixtures and set pan/tilt value to 100%.
Record memory.
Set memory to Mode 2 (Edit Times menu)
Manually set fixture pan/tilt back to 0%

Now the pan/tilt of the fixtures will be proportional to fader level.

2) You can use mode 2 as above to select colours (assuming colour wheel) by fader position, but there is no way to avoid inbetween colours. You could define range tables which would allow selection of defined colour values by wheel (attributes and tables screen) or use palettes.

Not sure if it will suit your particular application but one thing you could do is to record a 3 step chase, Magenta, Cyan & Yellow in your case. Then select Edit Times, select the playback with the chase on and turn link to off.

Now when you raise the fader and press the add button for that playback you will get Magenta, then press add again for Cyan and so on.

It's a primative method of doing cue stacks.
