Filter relevant pallettes not working after exchange or edit personality.

Hi.

After having discovered a fault in the personality(ClayPaky Sharpy+, Shutter ranges, Bug reported), I have edited the personality in the software, and updated the fixtures.
This breaks the filter relevant pallettes funktion for shared pallettes. They still work, but are greyed out.
Tried saving the personality instead, and do a fixture exchange, same result. Is this intentional, a bug or ?....

Sincerely yours

I think this is because as far as the software is aware it is a different fixture. Update personality is actually an exchange. User edited personalities (ie. those stored in the personalities folder after editing via the UI that are preserved with library updates) have 'User' appended to the model name. As far as I can see if you update using the factory version it considers it the same fixture (ie. not 'user') and then the filter relevant works as expected.

I do agree this is wrong though. Ideally they should filter when relevant, regardless of exchange. And certainly for user edits where the 'user' part is not a real thing.

Thanks, and agree....
Will just deselect the filter until the personality gets fixed by AVO. When updating from official library i suppose the filter works again, eg same fixture.
Would be a shame to gray these beautiful thumbnails out

Yes, I believe it should do. Do you have a manual or similar with the correct charts? The shutter ranges you submitted make sense as they look very much like standard Clay Paky DMX but the original charts provided have different ranges. While not absolutely necessary It would be helpful if we had a something official but I can't find anything available online at the moment. I will email you about this.

And I have to agree about those thumbails...

Hi Nic

There is a official DMX chart as of may 2019 on CP website in their customer care section. I have it as a PDF, but cant seem to attach said PDF here.

Edit: Send by mail
