Overriding a chase with another one

Postby djsky » 27 Apr 2019, 11:14

Let’s say I have four parcans flashing one after the other in a four step chase.

I have another chase that only flashes One of the parcans on/off. (Two steps)

When I run the second chase I want the other three to stop flashing without turning off the first chase.... but then continue to run once I’ve finished.... how do I do this?

Turn on playback option Cross Fade HTP in the cue with the two-step chase. For this to work it is important that all of the steps in both chases have zero values explicitly recorded for the pars in the off states. So in the four-step chase step 1 = 1@ full, 2@0, 3@0, 4@0, step 2 = 1@0, 2@full, 3@0, 4@0 etc. Similarly for the two-step chase step 1 = 1@full, 2@0, 3@0, 4@0 and step 2 = 1@0, 2@0, 3@0, 4@0.
