Reversing fixtures

Postby djsky » 07 Apr 2019, 21:26

Is there a way to “reverse” multi-cell fixtures.... specifically pixel battens.

Scenario: programmed scenes and chases spread over sub-cells of multiple LED battens.... for instanced placed along the width of a stage - but then one was installed “backwards”.

Wondering if there’s a software way of “reversing” the one incorrectly installed fixture.

This isn't something we currently support within Titan for cue data programmed directly onto fixtures. For effects (if you were programming shapes, keyframe shapes or pixel map effects) you can simply update the group layout to reflect the flipped fixture and any effects referencing those groups will update to match.

In this case, if you have a significant amount of programming in for the fixture that needs to be rotated, the best way forward is probably to use Personality Builder to produce a custom personality with the cells reversed, and then exchange the affected fixtures to your new custom personality.

Please feel free to request this as new a feature for consideration in future versions at https://www.avolites.com/ideas.
