My Old Azure 2000 just stopped booting, the internal display freezes on TF every time.

I found reference to a similar problem here:

I'm not sure if I have that update or not. But my problem isn't occasional, its every time it tries to boot.

What does TF mean?

Figured it out, had to do a hard wipeall, didn't know that was possible

Trying to do the 2003 update now to ensure this doesn't happen again, getting error ~"flash.prl not found". This file isn't included in the upgrade download.
