Shutter Strobe on fader

Postby acetaxidriver » 04 Jun 2018, 17:06

Hi.

I'm using Martin MH2 Wash (RGBW) and I want to make white strobe effect with speed on fader.
I created a cue with {Shutter Strobe % = 100%} and {color=RGBW at 100%}.
Set playback to [mode 2] and [Effects / Shape and effect speed on fader].
When I lift the fader the strobe effect is increasing with fader but color starts mixing in the beginning. (From previous color to white).
Is it possible to make shutter effect on fader and instantly change color to white?

Using Titan v10.1

Thanks

I don't think it is possible with the way you program it since color and strobe value were both controlled by the fader at this time.
What I think is that you can either record color white and strobe as two separate cues or try record the cue by using shapes and effects. And I am guessing recording cues separately would not be the solution for you, so I will just go with second suggestion, recording with shapes and effects.

This should be the effect you described. Hope there is nothing I am getting it wrong.

Thanks for the tip.

To be perfect:
Step 12b> Set [Shape Size] to Fixed

If strobe effect includes a color, e.g. white
Step 12c> [Playback Options] [Release Mask] [Color include]

Playback mode set to mode 0:
[Playback options] [Playback] [Fader Mode 0]
