Tiger Touch Pro SMPTE Timecode

Postby afandrewflanagan » 29 May 2018, 17:14

Hi,

I have used the SMPTE timecode option on the Tiger Touch II, which has an XLR input, but the Pro doesn't have this, but still has a SMPTE option. How do I input timecode into the desk?

Thanks

As the software is the same between the two different hardware variations it will show you all the options in both cases. On Pro consoles you would have to use the MIDI in port to send MTC to the console.

So there is no possible way for me to use SMPTE on the pro?

No, there is no SMPTE port on the Pro consoles.

Just saw this discussion. I had a similar problem with a pyro-console. Probably this product can solve your problem:
