Pearl Expert w/ Titan doesn't boot

Hi all,
old black Pearl Expert running Titan 8.1.
The console sometimes hang on boot since it doesn't find the SSD.

Detaching and reattaching the SATA cable on SSD side is the only way to fix the issue (p.e. multiple reboot, powercycle, detaching and reattaching SATA cable on motherboard side...).

Changing SATA cable didn't solve the issue, and changing SATA port on motherboard doesn't either.
Also fixing the cable to the SSD w/ gaffa tape or glue doesn't solve the issue, which still happens sporadically.

Removed from console and checked SSD with manufacturer tool doesn't find anything wrong.

Anyone experienced a similar problem?

Thanks, bye
G.G.

Perhaps a motherboard battery issue where it is losing settings?

I'll try changing the battery, but BIOS isn't losing settings and voltage is 2.88V.

Thanks for the hint!

Changed battery, reinstalled 8.0 and then 8.1 upgrade, changed SSD and installed 8.0 and then 8.1 upgrade, BIOS default settings and then settings as described on Avo documentation, checked that all ECNs are done.

Still same sporadic problem.

Asked for original SSD replacement at assistance, they send me an Amazon link to an Intel disk not available. Asked for model or characteristics to obtain a compatible disk: no answer.

Motherboard issue?

Any hint is appreciated! Thanks!
G.

I would suggest raising a help desk ticket if you haven't already.
