Rumor about beta version?

Hi, I'm hearing rumors about a beta version of the Pearl software. Is there a way to subscribe to the beta test users, or does one have to be selected? The console is sitting on my desk most of the time, so I don't mind sticking in a floppy and try to find some bugs. The features mentioned were exciting, but I'll won't go into that since I don't know if you want to publish that info yet (damn, what a fine teaser I'm posting here
