Hi there all,

Just a quick one, doing a show in a couple of weeks and using pixel line 1044 for the first time any advice on which personality to use and or mode for the pixel line? Programming time will be very limited so guessing extensive use of onboard effects and chases will be used. .

If needing to use the onboard effects and chases, I'd suggest either Max 2 mode or Max 1. These both give you access to those but vary in what else they give you.

As you may well be aware, the Pixel Line is split into 18 "cells", each with about 60 or so LEDs. Max2 only allows you to control all cells together for colour mixing - giving you an all red, all blue and an all green channel. Max 1, by contrast, gives you control of each cell invidivually, so the first can be red, the second yellow and so on.

Assuming you're using the Pearl/Sapphire or Azure to control, you'll want JT_PL1044M2 if choosing Max 2, or JTPL1044M1A, JTPL1044M1B and JTPL1044M1C for Max 1, all of which can be found on disk 5 in the Fixture Personality Library.
