Expert touch - Screen is blank

Hi we have an Avo Pearl Expert running v8.1 with a touch wing - The touch wing screen is not lighting up at all, although the buttons etc work fin, anyone have any idea's as to what the problem could be?

Most likely it is one of the two cables from console to wing. Inside the wing, they are plugged as well, hence it's easy to replace them.

Don't be confused with the DVI and serial connector: some of the USB signals are also routed via the DVI cable, and some display signal is routed through the 9pin serial cable.

Another thing you should check is whether the BIOS is set correctly. See https://www.avolites.com/support/titan- ... -settings- - if LCD type is not set correctly then the display may not work.

There are more things which might go wrong (loose cables in wing and console, broken inverter board, and more) - but the a.m. things are what you can check easily yourself. And then: give Avolites a call - their service dept. is good in sorting this out :D
