Normally, when we stop a moving effect playback, moving heads will just go back to the original position. At least, that's what I get after trying.
What if I want moving heads to stay where it is when I stop the effect, is there any possible way to achieve this?
I think I saw other programmer do this before, but I couldn't figure out how to do it.
Does it have to do with the mode in Edit Times or else?
Thanks!

Currently the only way to achieve this is to reduce the speed to zero.

Ok, what i tried is like the steps below.
1. selected all the moving heads and create a circle effect in pan and tilt shape generator
2. record it as a playback
3. assign one of the fader as speed source
4. set the playback's speed source to the one i just assigned
As the result, moving heads will still go back to the original position instead of stopping right where they are when I pull down the speed fader to zero.
anything i get wrong?
btw, the reason i am asking is because when running a show, i want moving effect stop as soon as possible. For now, moving heads will go back to the original position and thus make redundant noise and moves which makes me visually annoyed.

When I try this it stops in its current position. I can't see anything wrong with your steps but it seems there might be a mistake. Please try again.
