Shapes don't work in capture visualiser

Postby tmc99018 » 27 Aug 2017, 16:15

Hello I'm a new guy to learn Titan v10.1
I want to find out why my shapes generator doesn't work in visualiser. I choose my fixture (just some kind of moving heads) and pick up my effects dimmer spread then pan tilt circle but nothing happened in my visualiser. Can someone help me?

When you select one of the fixtures does it highlight an associated fixture in the integrated Capture?

Yes they are and I can control them completely except the shapes generator.

If the fixtures have dimmer, pan and tilt and the three controls simulate when adjusted in Capture there is no reason I can think of as to why dimmer spread or circle shape wouldn't work.

Try the following:

- Clear
- Select fixtures
- Locate
- Clear
- Select fixtures
- [Shapes and Effects]
- [Shape Generator]
- [Intensity]
- [Dimmer Spread]

This should make the fixture intensity fade in and out.

Similarly:

- Clear
- Select fixtures
- Set intensity at full (@@)
- Record playback using [Channel] mode
- Clear
- Fire playback
- Select fixtures
- [Shapes and Effects]
- [Shape Generator]
- [Pan/Tilt]
- [Circle]

This should make the fixtures move (the effect will probably be a figure-of-eight because tilt is at 50%).

Does that work?
