When I make chases or cue lists, I always use palettes.
But sometimes I delete (not modify) the palettes which have been used in many chases and cuelists.
Is it ok??
So far I don't have any problem but I am just curious it is right thing.

Re: Deleting Palettes
Apart from for busking the primary use of palettes is to allow you to use the same value in multiple cues and then when you update the palette all the cues are updated to match the new value. If the palette used in a cue is deleted there is still a copy of the value stored as part of the cue which will be used instead and the link to the palette will be removed, so it will be as if a palette had never been there. There shouldn't be any problem continuing to program in the way you describe but you do lose some of the benefits of using palettes.
Re: Deleting Palettes
There was a bug in some earlier versions of Titan that if you recorded something with a palette then modified the palette then deleted the palette the cue would go back to how it was when you first recorded it which could trip you up. I can't remember which version it was fixed in but I'm sure you'll be fine in the recent ones (9+)
