DMX values jumps around when faders are pushed all the way up (TT2)

Postby n4spd » 20 Jul 2017, 08:12

Console: Tiger Touch II
Problem: 5 out of 10 faders now will send random DMX values if the faders are pushed all the way to the top end. The problem only happens when the faders reach the top end. I will see the lights flicker, or turned off because dimming value is not at 100% but is jumping around. i currently have a tape running across the top part of the fader track to prevent the faders from going to the end.

How can I fix this problem? many thank!

Have a look at this YouTube video and see if that helps:

I recently had to follow those steps on both a Titan Mobile and Tiger Touch 2 and it does the trick! But note that if you get a 'new' bottle of Fader F5, you might need to use a syringe or something to actually get the cleaner into the fader - the 'new style' straw doesn't fit into the fader track like the one in the video does!
