Making a single shot keyframe shape

Hello community,

I am new to Titan, but I have already experience with the old pearl expert software(R20).
Do you guys know if it possible to make a keyframe shape Go and stop at the end (without it repeating itself).

Here is where I would use it. To make a quick sequence of Dimmer shot+fade out that ends on "dimmer off" and stays like that until you click something else. That way I can trigger some great short sequences in the rhythm. This option is great, but if you could make it stop at the end if you want, that would open even more doors.

I hope that you understood me.

Best regards and thank you,
Peri_95

There isn't an option to do this currently, your best bet is probably to create a two step cue list with the pixel map in the first cue and the second cue set to After Previous with the required length of time. You can use the Release Me macro in the second cue to kill the cue list once it has finished running.

Will there be a fix for this in future?

Key frames can be affected by rate masters and therefore the time to finish a shape can vary

This has been added in Titan 11, half a year ago. From the Release Notes:

Run Effect n T imes:
Effects can now be set to run a finite number of cycles and then stop.

When creating Key Frame Shapes a new 'Cycles' parameter has been added to the shape and
layer properties. This can be set either across the whole effect or per layer. By default this is
set to 0 (infinite) and dragging the slider will change this to a finite number of cycles.
